Halo 3 comes out next month.

I just heard that Halo 3 is due to be released next month for Xbox 360, and if I remember correctly the last two Halo games were pretty fun, and entertaining... What do you guys think? Will Halo 3 be even better than the last two halos?

Are you going to buy Halo 3 or rent it once it comes out?

Ya, I was just looking at all the graphics for Halo 3, and boy are they amazing... It's a shame I don't have my 360 anymore. What's the gameplay like on the computer?

It won't come out for PC for quite a while. However I can't wait to get my hands on it even though theres better games coming out like BioShock.

Speak of the devil, I just watched a trailer of Halo 3 not long ago. It looks good.. I might go buy it. But is it really worth buying a 360 to get it :/

As far as i know, the 360 will be the only place you can play halo 3. So its either that or nothing. Could be wrong though. Sony must be craping themselves now, theres no way anything on the PS3 can contend with that, or the likes of bioshock and gears of war.

Unreal Tournament 3 will be a ton better than Gears of War. Halo 3 is overrated, there is no innovation in gameplay, especially compared to cult classics like Half Life 1/2, Goldeneye, Renegade (It wasn't too popular, however multiplayer was EPIC).

The 360 is whored with FPS's. If you love FPS's, then it is good for you. However if you like a variety, a PS3 would be for you, and if you enjoy innovative gameplay, the Wii is for you.

Just like "The Wii is a minigame machine." this is a false statement, and is just a stereotype rather than reality.

FPS games have a presence on the 360, yes. But they only make up 11% of the total library. Shooters as a whole compose 17% There are more sports games, racing games, and action/adventure games than it has shooters. It has a diverse library of games, just like the Wii or PS3.

In short: Perception != Reality. Can we stop spreading these myths now?

Cole, please check your sources before making a statement. According to the Xbox 360 game catalog, there are 22 shooters (retail & arcade, 1st and 3rd person and unreleased) out of all of the 360 games.

I cant wait, i allready play with guys on the MLG and X-League so the transistion from 2 to 3 will be a intresting one. Especially with the big changes to online play.

My brother is going to be one of the first to get it. My dad gets it for 50AU, the special collectors edition, with the helmet thingo. :) which is VERY cheap. But thats cause my dad knows people at microsoft, lucky him.
