I'd just like to take a moment to point out that the PS3 has been outsold, for the second month in a row, by a six year old, nigh obsolete handheld. The DS continues on its sales rampage, with the Wii closing out nicely, but displaying the effects of supply shortages. The PS2, whilst last-gen, is still outselling the current consoles. How long can it keep up this pace?
Interesting things to look for in the April NPD Numbers:
1. Super Paper Mario, one of the most anticipated games during the Wii's supposed draught. How will it sell?
2. What sort of impact will the release of the Elite have on 360 sales?
3. Nintendo is supposed to have their supplies ready by the time the April and May numbers come in. Will the Wii notice a big boost from this?
4. Can Sony salvage their PS3 and get it selling better than a GBA, or will they begin to have to admit that something has gone wrong?
Thoughts or predictions?
