What do you like most and dislike most about marapets??
I'm not sure yet.I'll tell later.

I dislike how buggy Marapets is sometimes. I also dislike how they promise users a bunch of things, like new games every week, and don't do what they say they're going to.
I love how there are already a ton of different things to do, and we don't even have access to every part of the map yet.
I was going to say I dislike the ads, but I honestly don't mind the ads anymore.
When I first played they didn't have any of their own Flash games. It looked like games they borrowed from others (like the Yeti/Penguin games for example) and added in MP scripts.
The human avatar is pretty unique, but just a way to spend money.
Finally, while other sites do this, I am not fond of playing games for real life prizes...Just attempts for people to be more attached to the game.

There were only 2 that Marapet had 22 months ago, if memory serves.
Well there is nothing wrong with borrowing other content, just seems odd. Basically like Neopets taking a game and making it a Neopets version, lightens the difficulty and puts more points in the economy.

Now.. for the not so nice. They are notorious thieves. All of their flash games are stolen. They used a flash cracker or Flash editor to take other people's work and add in a scoring system. Some of the games even still have the link to the flash editor they used, so users can just click that and download the program and find out how they are sending the score. One of the wanna-be artist stole some of another pet site's (Jinopets), but this has been resolved so far. Among the stolen games are Smack the Pingu, Toss the Pingu, Zookeeper (with the japanese text still on it, even), and several, several others. They have a total of 31 games. 31 games + 91 day old site = impossible to be made by them, or even modified free games...

I like how they started to make their own flash games now.
I dislike the fact that they havenīt had any big team stuff like team wars in PP or the different plots in Neo.
Yeah they had the war, but it wasnīt really very interesting.
I just hope they plan to release more stuff like that soon.

New ones solely for the fact that itīs theirs and more original.
I did love that game with the yeti tho XD
Oh oh and the one were you jumped little lines and could get up to like 32 points or something and everyone fought to get the points 1st rofl.

they are freeware games u can stick on websites anywhere
just like miniclip didnt STEAL club penguin
if u read the whole review on that site you'd clearly see that the person is a total nutcase
she says something about marapets being crap because the pet has MP on show at the bank that anyone could steal... err... THEY ARE PETS AND NOT REAL
I'm more worried that she thinks the pet dressed in a suit really works in a bank

True, but most sites put arcades on them in their original form. Marapets edited the programs (with or without permission I do not know) on their sites.

I do not like Marapets because of the over excessive ads and I also hate the Owner, Ian.
OK,now I dislike Mara because I made a topic there after a while of not making one and have it deleted when there was nothing wrong with it.
They should at least tell you why it was deleted

If it was older than all the topics on the forum it isn't really a right for the admins to just say they were freeing space on the server.
