View Full Version : Marapets will hit 3 million members by the end of 2007 /early 2008?

Who thinks Marapets has what it takes to hit 3 million members by the end of 2007 - early 2008? We've been following Marapets and tracking its stats (http://www.virtualpetlist.com/showthread.php?t=4272) and they're growing very fast... So, do you think Marapets will hit 3 million members by the end of 2007 or will they hit it in early 2008?

I think early 2008.They have been growing really fast but there´s only 3months left in 2007 so I don´t think they´ll hit this year.

Well - I'm sure they have other plans. We didn't see much of a party for 2 million users. Promote marapets would be a nice feature to have back too.

I just want like a week of just free new items, stuff donated to pog, ramdom events finding cool stuff.
Party layout would be cool but doubt that would happen.

there are no 3 million actual players... those are FAKE STATS...

weed out all the thousands upon hundreds of thousands of accounts that were just created for referrals... (no stats, some no pets, non players)
weed out all the banned/frozen accounts

you may end up with about 50k but you NEVER see more than 5,000 or even close to that online. EVER!

I don't believe they include banned accounts. They used to delete accounts as well.

I can't bear the number of ads and trying to find the bits I am meant to be looking at between them. They layout also seems pretty screwy and hard to follow for me, I don't know if it is different on a browser other to IE, but I just can't bring myself to play it.

I did try, but it didn't keep me.

I don't believe they include banned accounts. They used to delete accounts as well.

Pfft...There are only 11 (estimate) million unique IP addresses on Neopets.

A freind was posting about the adblocker on the forums last night for those that miss the pumpkins because they appear behind the ads.
I was just waiting for the board to be deleted, last time I posted about adblocker my post got deleted. xD
