View Full Version : I won't be as active as I used to be.
Dear users of our believed community,
I as the owner of Virtualpetlist would like to inform and let everyone know that I won't be as active as I used to be.
No, I'm not quitting or ever giving up. I'm working full-time now as a stocker, at Krogers, and my hours are 11 pm to 7 am.. Right now, I haven't been getting enough sleep, and trying to struggle with everyday life, but in about a week or two, I'm going to come back even harder and do my best to bring this community to another level..
Virtualpetlist will never go anywhere, and I believe with everyone's help, without, or without me on every day, we can still continue to flourish into one of the best virtual pet & gaming communities on the web today.

I think this is a very good community, but since the original crash we've lost some activity. I'm sorry to see you being less active but I completely understand. I hope everything works out well in your life.
God bless. :)
Ya, it's hard that we've lost activity, but we'll be back to our activity self real soon. It won't be hard.
Thanks GodsGal, I'm going to be very active on my days off though because I'm not going to give up.
Well, I'm still here guys. I've just been so busy lately. I had to quit my job because they dropped all my hours for no reason (new hirings, so I quit) because I was working 40 hrs a week and they dropped me down to 16, so I just quit. Now I'm working on everything I can before its time for me to go back to work. I'm going to try to find another job resoon. I'm sorry everyone, but as soon as Patrick graduates we're going to sit down and talk about everything and see what can be done to bring VPL to a new level.
We can do it guys! Just keep posting & try to keep this community alive until I can come back fully.
Dang! I'm sorry to hear about your job sweety. I'm sure the next one you find will be twice as good! Don't give up on it.

Ya, I don't think I will. I'm going to be moving back to my hometown for 4 months and try to find a better job, and I'll have a lot more time to focus on our community.
Meep, expand it from just being Virtual Pets to Virtual gaming- so all webmasters and coders and artists can all come together :P

VPL has a strong focus on Virtual Pets, but is in fact also a regular gaming forum as well.
Yeah; but perhaps you could add sections like you do for the Virtual Pet section, such as Hiring For Staff section, to the game forum?

What new sections do you have in mind? It's not a bad idea because as soon as we can, we can branch onto many new topics and if need be we'd create a whole new forum that caters to such. I don't think we can do that at this time since we have so many forums as is that don't receive as much attention as they should because Virtual pet list caters to virtual pets and the gaming community, we need to try our best to try to cater to both.
At this time, we just cater to virtual pets industry because we don't have the knowledge nor man power to uplift the community into a full-bred gaming community like it's already a full-bread virtual pets community, but not much of a gaming community at this time, but if we all work long and hard we can make it a full-bred virtual pets and gaming community. It's not that hard (or is it?).

a game guide section?
a game guide section?
That's something you can suggest in the suggestions / feedback (http://www.virtualpetlist.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=8) forum. Also include details as do what type of guides you'd like to see.

Game guides are something we used to have on the forums. I probably still have some of the old ones if we bring that back.
Correct, and users can submit their own guides as well.

Most users don't have permissions to submit their game guides (or other articles) to the Articles section, do they?
What are they to do?
Oh, they can send a PM to one of us by submitting it to us.
