View Full Version : Beta and Launch Dates Confirmed

As of now (10/7/07) beta and launch dates have been confirmed:

Beta: 10/31/07 Halloween

Launch: 11/22/07 Thanksgiving

We're going to be taking beta pre-registration right now. If you're interested in beta-ing the month-ish time between Beta and Launch, please post here with your interest. We're not sure how many we'll take, but I assume somewhere between 50-100 official beta users, who will also receive a beta trophy. Highest activity players will receive RBC bonus.

I'll probably post here on Beta day with a link to the registration :)
As for now, I suggest not making a Lodithia account (as it is now) - we're probably going to drop the user table again before beta. However, on beta, the user table will be perm and will last after Launch.

It's going to be a fun kick-off.

I think the difference between beta and launch will be:
- launch will have more stoofs
- beta users (anyone who signs up on Halloween) will get a special avatar, special items, etc.

I don't reckon there will be any cap on users who can sign up for beta. It's just who gets there. xD

That's true, but on the other hand it also means there'll be less of a strain on the server(s) on opening day. Isn't that what happened to Mistic and some other sites? They opened to the public and then hundreds of people flocked onto the site, causing the server(s) to crash.

...Unless my dorm/one of my classes's plans actually go through, it's not like I'll have anything better to do on Halloween anyway.

I wants to beta pwease. XD

(Ohohoh and I need to scan those sketches that I've done so far... I'll get them to you in a second, Viral. ^^; )

I do see what you mean. PERSONALLY, I spend a lot of time sleeping on Thanksgiving :P
And now that I think about it, I might be at the cabin...

New launch date coming soon. Beta date stays the same.
