If subeta (http://www.subeta.org/)'s servers go down for whatever reason - please post here with the following:

I was gone for a day, was there an announcement that subeta would be down, the page isn't loading.:confused:
I believe they were upgrading their servers again last night.

That's what the downtime was for partially. To fix some of the issues users were having and now the servers can handle 4000 users without serious lag.

It seems 1000 is still too much for Subeta to handle...

Well think about it, you could have the best server (or even Sar (the Wocky) as the server) and it doesn't help to look at the fact their proxy is not any good.

-shrug- Whether Subeta works or not doesn't matter, 'El' is dead for all practical purposes.
Though yes it is annoying and should be fixed. I think Subeta wouldn't need a proxy if they would behave.

The proxy error is appearing, from my viewpoint, is because they are using a proxy to keep their actual IP from being revealed and attacked by 4chan.
Subeta seems to be down again today (4:07 PM CST).

It's back up now...I think the server just had an overload. 700+ users online at once can do that to a server that's not capable enough to handle it.
EDIT: I'm getting a server error now...gah! Why can't they get a better server!

Lord they haven't realized how counter active their efforts are. Subeta has recently been spending time on making sure the site can handle 4000+ users at at time but with all the downtime many users are leaving.
Ya, I agree. They need to get a better server administrator.

Times like this I miss David...he knew somewhat what he was doing.
Yesterday at around 6 we had a 502 and then a 503 error.
Today it isn't loading at all, stops after five minutes and at a blank screen.

Oddly enough I got mail while the system was down.

I hope none of you ever have to deal with servers, unless that's what you really like to do. Really, really want to do. Or, of course, if you like spending entire days mindlessly clicking through rows of data.
There will be more updates today, I know everyone likes to know what's going on. Right now we (meaning, the person who works on the servers ♥) are working to get Subeta back up as soon as possible for you.

For me, it's blank on Firefox, and IE gives me a 'page cannot be displayed' message. I've been trying to access that site for the last 4 hours, give or take.

Was this the fabled logcat war? I dunno I first joined Subeta in the heat of the debate. I heard it had some thing to do with anonymous and I'm still unsure of what the whole thing was about.
