I havn't bought it yet, but my friends say its awesome... how good is it? Worth buying?

Google "Frets On Fire" and download that (If you don't want to use a keyboard, you can use a Wiimote with GlovePIE and a Bluetooth receiver). If you like it, buy Guitar Hero.

I'd wait for Guitar Hero 3, however. If I remember correctly, it will have online multiplayer capabilites.

Guitar Hero is awesome, even if you don't play guitar, my friend has it and we spent hours playin it, (him and my other friend used the guitar thingy that comes with it, but I just used he regular controller - fit me better XD)

Guitar Hero 3 is awesome!

Guitar hero is the least sociable game ever!! Everyone sits and stares at the screen waiting for their turn. Play it alone. And be prepared for the addiction.

I have guitar hero 3, I got it for christmas but don't play it at all now apart from when I'm playing it with friends. I was hooked for 4 days or so when I first got it, it is good just loses it's fun I think. The online mode is pretty good too ^^
