Looks like google decided to let Subeta back into their search engine. They were banned for what 7 months or so?

Well, they're re-indexed.

When Subeta was google banned they didn't show up on search for their own keyword.

Hmm...Well if their email addresses listed on their site is correct, it is still banned from Gmail.

What do you mean banned from gmail?

It just says that the domain of the destination email is not on the accepted list. -shrug-

.. maybe the change hasn't updated in all their databases just yet.

Probably. I'm used to Google being fast sometimes.

But you have to remember that the Google databases have almost every website on the Internet indexed or being indexed. That's a lot to scan through.. and the block lists include every spam domain and yeah.. you get the picture. ;)

Computers have their limits. Remember that. (plus, who wants to fool with unbanning a domain anyways when it violated your terms?)

Gmail doesn't use the search engine function. I was referring to the fact that when Google removed Subeta from the block list theoretically it would quickly fall back into Google's subsections.

But, in all, Subeta was Google banned. That includes all networks. So, they have to update each block list for them and remove Subeta from them. That's a lengthy process.

Google has a ton of different datacenters. They're not synced. One datacenter can show a different result and such.

No, it's global.

Hmm...True. Hopefully it'll be synced soon.

You guys don't remember the whole longcat issue?

Subeta was google banned long before longcat. It was just noticed around that time.

There are many reasons one can be removed from google, see:
Webmaster Guidelines (http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35769)
They don't specifically tell you the reasons you are removed.

Getting back on google just honestly was not a huge priority for us (same reasons we don't have banner ads etc) so it got pushed to the wayside. It is nice to have Subeta back on google again tho.
