Why do you play Subeta?

So, for all the Subeta players - what keeps you guys playing all the time? Is it the amount of features + daily updates or is it because of the staff - and how they interact with everybody?

I used to play Subeta because it was the newest pet site - and didn't have much downtime, but now that its a lot bigger - the servers tend to go down a lot.

So, why do you play Subeta?

3. Graphics- NICE!
4. The Mods, friendly.
5. Many places to explore

It's not Neopets.

Ok, this not a real reason. Let's do it properly.

a) Simple layout without ads.
b) The ability to customize the site via CustomCSS.
c) It's hilarious to see how the Staff messes things up (i.e if they change the inflation to 100.6 instead of 1.6)
d) When the site grows big, I can look down at the newbies and say "I was already here five years ago :cool: And I survived the Longcat incident".
e) The Staff cares about the users (opposed to Neopets)
f) Nice, simple art
g) I am staff at a fansite of it. I can't just, like say to my boss "I don't like Subeta anymore and you and (name of fansite here) can all get lost."
h) I am curious to see what will Subeta will become like (see also d)). It's kinda like in an episode of "Star Trek: Voyager" where they get the possibility to watch a civilization growing from the very beginning.
i) I like the trivias.

i don't lol, just check the news once a while to see if anything exciting is going on. Seems they have gone down hill a little since the whole chan thing and server issues.

At first, it was because they seemed really promising and yeah. Now though, it's mostly because I like their style...pretty hard to explain how and why, but that's what I think.

I joined Subeta yesterday, and I think the games will keep me coming back. If a site has sucky games then I won't play. Not sure why, but communities are decent in most sites that I've played, but I'll stop if there's no good games.

I just really love Subeta. I love their pets and human avatars. They have great items for the human avatars. And I just personally love their pets. :)

artwork stunning, elixir hoarding...someday millions to be made. Easy hoarding and collecting items. Plus visually better than other sites. I just hear negative things about the site.

I love creating human avatars. The artwork on there is great and unlike neopets, you don't have to play so much games to earn points. I like doing the quests. Also you actually write your opinion on important subjects or critique about the site. The community is more mature and the staff do their job!

I have to say I do not like neopets, after years of building up pets, stats, and acct, it gets frozen and no explaination. I tried mara, so so, then subeta and was hooked. Human avatars, the quests are fun and highly rewarding. It's always 'fresh' with new looks, ideas, gifts, seasons, and potions.
You can be a part of the community, no shout box is required to be heard. You feel welcome.

The reason I played was because of the art.

The community and most of the staff are pure crap in my opinion.

Honestly, the reason I still play is because I've been playing for so long and don't want to stop now. Gotta keep up, you know? -_-
