Living Avatars

Virtual Pet List has a new feature called Living Avatars! This feature allows you to customily build your own forum avatar. To create your avatar please go to your UserCP, then press "edit avatar". From there you will see a link that says "Click here to create or update your Living Avatar. (http://www.virtualpetlist.com/forum/living_avatars/index.php)" Click this link and you will then be able to edit your custom avatar. First you will need to "purchase" the clothing items. You guys should be able to figure it out from there.

These "Gaia Lite" avatars are our only options now?

Would it be possible to use some of these "forum points" to purchase our own custom avatar, rather than a "living avatar" one?

I believe you can still upload your own custom avatar, can you not?

The only option I see in the User CP under "Your Current Avatar" is "Do Not Use An Avatar". Then it goes to the new Living Avatars section.

Wow, I didn't notice VPL had this feature. It's fun to play around with. Nice addition!

I think this is a new thing, that's not been implimented for very long.

It was actually implemented about a month ago. It just hasn't been used much. Not that surprising, really. Unless it has changed, the selection for Living Avatars is really quite small. It's my personal feeling that there's more that could be done with it, and it'd be interesting to see the results of it (even if most members probably wouldn't know or care what the "it" is) were.
