Do you guys think Subeta has finally recovered from all its controversy (bad publicity) now or do you think Subeta will have even more controversy in 2008?

Personally; I think Subeta has finally recovered and is well on its way to becoming the second biggest pet site, but their servers still need to be worked on; tweaked, optimized and be able to hold more users online.

I believe Subeta has recovered from the chan attacks though, but I'm still not sure.

I agree, I believe subeta has recovered from it's outward drama. However some of the inner drama shall still go on sadly enough. Keith to me seems to be a drama llama but some of that might not reach the public as much as the chan attacks did.

It's all dependant on the recode.

If the recode is done on time, and goes as Keith said it would, I think a lot of people will be willing to forget/forgive the things that happened in 2007.

If the recode ends up causing a lot of downtime/lag/more errors, I think Subeta may suffer a lot.

Also, Misticpets is now open and last I heard Daxitove was shooting for end of the year to launch (I may be wrong on that though, haven't heard much from from my Daxoitove source in a while). If those two sites are up and running and the recode causes excessive downtime, I expect to see quite a few people move from Subeta to another site.

The big issues have subsided, but there are still many problems. I haven't seen any improvements in the staff, to be honest.

Well, I talked to Keith the other day and he said the recode will probably begin (beta testing) sometime this month.

The recode was to be done at the end of the month, based on a post Keith made at the beginning of November. So I certainly hope the testing begins very soon, otherwise a lot of people's expectations will not be met.

The screenshots seem almost exactly the same as the older Subeta with a few minor additions. XD Oh well, I guess only time can tell! He hasn't shown us everything, yet, either. So I hope it's good. C:
