The user profile system in the recode will not support V1 [old] profiles. Everyone will be required to use the new V2 profiles.
This is due to the effort required to keep up two separate styles of profiles. V2 profiles are classes and easier to add new information, plugins and features to, while the old style takes 2-3x the amount of programming to the do the same thing [worse!]
So, from this point forward, V1 profiles will no longer be supported on Subeta
