View Full Version : RSS feeds for virtual pet sites?

I've yet to see a virtual pet site create an RSS feed for its news - which could help helpsites and such spread the news, and latest updates on the virtual pet site itself... Having an RSS feed helps the users see the news on their desktop or something if they have the program installed on their computer...

I was just wondering how come the virtual pet sites industry doesn't have RSS feeds or anything? Could it help the virtual pet site? I believe it can, but that's only my opinion. What do you guys think?

I was thinking about adding it. I know subeta has a rss icon but its not really implemented.

I just don't think a ton of sites would have a use for syndicating with a rss feed.

Yes, but what most owners don't know is how the RSS feeds can hit news sites and the like... What if you release a very unique feature, don't you want that feature to hit the whole industry and have everyone talking?

As an owner of a blog, well former owner, I am very familiar with RSS feeds. I think that RSS feeds for a virtual pet website would be great for fansite owners. It's actually something to consider, thanks for the idea man.

most pet sites dont even have any news, so theres no point having feeds for them

they'd have a news feed telling everyone that they have released news feeds
