The 100 dollar item isn't just a plushie, it allows a user more pet slots. Keith set it that high so only serious players of the game would get the item. VERY serious players.

The other stuff is actually quite pricey, I remember being told the Angle potion is supposed to be very rare so that's why, everything else however I'm not sure.

According to Keith, the plushies (Mystical Donadak and Mystical Montre) are (or rather, were) that pricey because using them, a player can have 15 pets opposed to 5, thus causing more database load. Now that they have better servers, I hope the prices will drop.

Users kept chiding him about it so he finally said "Here ya go". The price was kind of to poke fun at the people that wanted those extra pet slots but they actually began to buy them. Like I said, though, that's just my take on it. You're right, though - some are VERY expensive.

Regardless, I think it's absurd. I mean Subeta has a decent following, there's really no need to price items that high. If the Pet-slot Plushies were priced at about $50, It'd be more reasonable. I mean I personally would never spend that much on just one item... But then the other items would be decently priced.

Ya, I know right. But, Subeta's players will continue to support the site by buying expensive items. It's not a joke, an it's not absurd. The players would rather buy items than have a site full of ads.

Also Adds are nothing. I know at least in firefox you can get plug-ins that take the adds off sites.
