Really, REALLY slow

Ok... Is this only happening to me? Subeta is SO friggin slow, that I feel like popping my eyes out. It lags, and it keeps screwing up my quests.

I keep getting this Proxy error too.

Is this only me?

Meh, it has been for me off and on. But I only go on subeta for like 30 mins a day. And it's fast for the first 25 and then it gets slow so I just logg out and don't go back on the rest of the day..

Anyone else noticed that you can't post on the forum or post offers on trades if you have ie? I have reported this tons of times and people just tell me that I should switch to firefox..but firefox is worse..I can't click any links or buttons on firefox...and I told them that..they just say to use firefox..wth..listen.

They said ie people can use the forums in a couple months..they aren't even attempting to help at this time...

I dunno... I use Firefox and it works well for me.

I really dislike this stupid browser war though... And people who only think about users of ONE browser. Think of the potential users they are loosing!!

Seriously.. Making a site that doesn't support IE is a MISTAKE :P Same goes for Firefox.

The same thing for safari. The admins don't seem to care that the majiroty of users cant post in the forums or go to trades/auctions, though it seems IE works better. I think it's actually worse in Safari--I can't search, create, or offer on trades or auctions.

And if the page takes like...more than 10 seconds to load I just leave. I don't have enough patience for waiting for a simple page to load.

I don't get it though.. Why is it so slow? I'm quite new to Subeta.. It worked fine the first few days. But now it's unbearably slow. Like... It keeps giving me "timed out" errors.. And Proxy errors. Let me quote it:

"Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /explore/index.php.

Reason: Error reading from remote server"

Does anyone else get this?

It's kind of known now that Subeta's scripts are...testy. They sometimes choose not to work. There's, unfortunately, nothing we can do about this. We just have to live with it.

It's probably that ***ed up Programmer of theirs... the corrupted one?


I hope they fix this soon, or else I'm out of there. If I can't play the game, then what use do I have of all that shiny graphic and cool features?

I read about the behind-the-scenes deal on that Neocolors forums, and I must say I'm really appalled by that. I joined Subeta because people said it was nothing like Neopets. But I see it's turning into Neopets... Just without all the power.

What I really hate is the arrogant way mr. keith handles those situations... in the "I did nothing wrong." way?

I don't know... It's just the whole "You're not allowed to question authority" thing that makes me the most uncomfortable. I don't wanna join a site that sees me as a mere number, that is NOT in any way to speak against the godly staff.

I get really scared of how greedy and evil some people can be :S

Seriously though, I cant even play anymore now. It's goes off for like 30 mins, then it works 5 mins, then it lags and screws up stuff, and then it goes off again... Giving me these weird proxy errors :S Are they fixing this at all?
