Similar to Ultima online this game offers a small MMORPG, it is the most spread MMORPG ever as it fits on a floppy. Not to mention you can play it anywhere that has java compatability.

After a strong tutorial that makes you want more more more!!! you are immersed into the game, where everything you do is your choice.

You could fish, you could quest, you could smith your own armour. you can cook gourmet meals, and sell them. you can brew wine. and with the pay version, you can make potions and fletch your own arrows, as well as pickpocketing. the possibilities are endles.. on top of this it will run on ANYONES SYSTEM. Voice 1:

Runescape is a shoddy MMORPG that is repetitive, boring, and has a horrible community primarily consisting of selfish children and immature adolescents. It's an unrewarding experience, and I only had to try the tutorial to discover all of that (and have had it confirmed by those that actually played it for years).

I highly suggest that others not try it. There are better useless ways to waste your time. But who am I to talk? I do have Maplestory characters, after all.

The game was actually pretty good, for a while. It depends on who you're playing with. I had a lot of real-life friends who had an interest in it, so we'd get on for quick raids.

I have to say that I think this is a great game, and it can be a lot of fun for people, so I don't know why there is so much against the game....

I played runescape, I quit last summer at the level of 93. I think I just got too bored or busy. But i've been getting cravings to go back to it and that scares me, haha.

How long have you been playing it for, Scott? :) Would you recommend Runescape to new users of the gaming industry?

My brother used to play it and he loved it. I've not had the pleasure yet tho.

I got to say I love runescape. I dont ever do the quests, I mainly fish and cook. It is fun to do when your bored and live in the country, LOL!
