Hi there. I sure do. MrsHolyk@msn.com
Do you have msn?
The family-like community is what I love most about petsites. I'm starting to notice a bit of it in this place as well. What with people looking out for one another by reporting bad petsites, scammers/hackers, and liars in the industry. For Paladore, I hope we have the same community there that was once on Lurapets... but slightly bigger and a whole lot better. It would be nice seeing some familiar faces as well. ALMOST out of general ED. And so happy to be so close to it. Starting next semester, I'll finally be able to really dig down on my learning experience as a CMA in training. After this sem. I'll only have to take another math course and I'll be done. ^^ Knowing where my life is headed is fantastic. For almost a year now, I've been worried about what I was going to do. Vet, teacher... I even wanted to become some sort of storm chaser.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Lurapets was big for me, and to see it fall the way it did, was just overwhelming. I'm really excited that I found Paladore, thanks to VPL. If it wasn't for this site, I don't think I'd know about any sites at all, lol. I think the only reason I'm really still into petsites is because I'm needing something to fill my time, and if I happen to meet some awesome people along the way then that's just one of the perks. lol. Of course, I'd rather meet some awesome people than anything else. I like the feeling of a family-like community. (: Second year is awesome. Way to go! Are you out of general ed? Or core classes now? I'm still in general ed., sadly. I can't wait to get out! D:
Those are amazing goals for your future. ^^ Know a friend who was headed towards that very same field. (But now she's into pre-law - and loving it). If I can... I'd like to see how I do as a programmer. If I see potential in myself, I'll try to become a professional programmer for something like a side job next to RN. As far as petsites go... I was going to give them up after what happened to Lurapets. Then Angel decided to go for her own dreams and I helped out. In the end I resigned, though. After some time to take a step back and consider a few things, I jumped on the wagon again with Paladore. So far, I haven't had any regrets. It's an amazing site. Just amazing. Playing petsites isn't really my thing anymore. I go on to look at features, updates, chat with people but I think the only site I ever (however rare) play would be Aywas. Everything else either reminds me of Lura in some way or just doesn't hold my interest. I'm currently in my second year now. ^^
Oh yeah, I completely understand where you're coming from as far as college. I've taken quite a long break from petsites in order to keep my grades up and it's definitely been a struggle, but worth it. You have some great goals for the future. I'm double majoring in Healthcare Admin. and Health and Human Services. I ultimately would like to be a drug and alcohol counselor for teens. I've quit petsites, and going to any all together the past year or so.. I've rarely came on the ones I was on, but, I now feel like it's time to step back into the game, lol. So, here I am. I feel like I've gotten enough of a jump start on my school that I feel comfortable enough to incorporate petsites to my daily activities, you know? It's been rough. I say the younger the better to get college out of the way and get the career going. I wish I would have started around 18, personally. What year are you in? Sorry, ramble ramble ramble. Once I start, I can't stop. xD
I've been awesome. ^^ College has, once again, taken total control of my life. But in the end it'll be so worth it. My current ambition is a Registered Nurse / Programmer.
Hey there! Yes it has. How have you been Joy? (: It's so nice to hear from you again!
Hey Amour. It's been a while. ^^
