I had to retire from programming/drawing for petsites because I started dental school (hurrah for getting in! ). Want to know how much it's going to cost for 4 years? Answer: $344,000... after interest it'll be around $400k (interest accrues while I'm in school). And that's instate tuition! =P

So, I'm going to graduate jobless and with nearly half a million in debt. Holy poo batman, that's scary. xD

It depends on where you live and what sort of patients you see. For 2009, the average GROSS was $727,630 however after you deduct business overhead (hygienists and secretaries need to be paid, equipment bought/repaired, insurance, rent, etc) the average NET was about $192,680. I don't know if how the health care bill will affect me.
