I hate to be one of those women but I have to be honest this blatant objectifying of womenmade me ill. The worse part is I can't find a way to remove it or block it. I do not know if this is new but I have not seen this before now and I've been active. I do not mind the ads if they were some how filtered to be of interest to me but this is insulting. At least when DA did it you could remove them from your message center and they were not this misogynistic crap.

Edit: The ad seems to be gone now so either they removed it or it's only temporary which I can live with. I was really happy about it but I didn't want to shout so much about it incase anything went wrong with it.

Which it seems to have happened now.

I get told I'm doing my first shift on 19th May, they want me to start on a slow day. 18th of May comes and I get told I'm not needed in on the 19th and that it's changed to the 26th May.

We come round to the 26th May and I get told upon going in to start work "We don't need you in tonight, could you come back in for the 2nd June?" and I said I couldn't because I was away on holiday then. So they said the 9th of June would be fine.

Gut feeling was telling me that they'd do the exact same thing again, so I went in tonight to ask/find out that I was for defo on tomorrow night (9th June).

I get told I'm not I have to wait for a call.

How longs that going to take?

Basically; how long is a piece of string?

So 15th May when I went in for the interview, I passed the interview and was told I got the job and I start on such-and-such date.

And then all they've done since is pretty much fob me off.

Its pretty simple; I either have the job or I don't have the job. Don't tell me I've got the job to just then say I'm not needed in every night I'm supposed to be working because I'm not earning anything from it.

The judge has accepted their plea of "not guilty" via reasoning of Insanity.

Tomorrow I've got my native language (Albanian), English and Math in a total of 120 questions, on the second one I've got Psychology, Sociology, Geography and History in a total of 80 questions.

I, personally, feel that it's a terrible idea.
I feel that it is a bad idea for many reasons, so I thought I'd break it down a bit to keep myself from rambling and going on tangents as I do.

Morality
Lets get this one out of the way. I feel like it's immoral to steal things from other people and sell them to strangers online. Simply said. I'm a parent and if my son were playing on a game site and had his account compromised and stolen he would, without a doubt, cry. Adults spend real life money and time on their accounts and to have them taken may not be as "bad", it's still an injustice done to another person. No, I've never been "hacked" (for lack of a better term), but I've known people who were, and having been in the black market trade a while back I've seen how often it happens.

Liability
I'm sure that Cpvr has already looked into this, but assuming never got anyone anywhere. I'd hate to see VPL get suspended for selling what is considered illegal items online. Not illegal? Actually, yes, it is. Selling the accounts and obtaining them through fraudulent means is, indeed, illegal.
Oh? What's that? Call a wambulance? The "interwebz police" are on their way? No. Probably not.
However, the site I was on was taken down not once, not twice, but four times before it found a server that was willing to allow it to be there because Neopets.com contacted the host and had the site removed. Sure, the site got back up, but the last time I'd visited it it was fairly dead from all the downtime and issues because of it.
Cpvr, are you ready for the notices from Neopet's legal department? Because they had to dodge those as well with demands that the personal information of the forum's users were provided or the site would take legal action against the forum.
Did anything come of that? No, I don't believe so, but I that the site owner is still dodging Neopets.

Site Purpose
I joined VPL with the understanding that the site is there for those looking to build up the virtual pet community, be it applications, pet sites or sim sites. Grand! But how are we building it up if we're encouraging the members to break the sites' rules? How can we, in confidence, encourage users to break the rules on one site and punish them for breaking the rules on our own? As a site-owner, I feel that it's in a bad way to allow this.
I've been on a forum like this before that had one sub-forum strictly for trading on one particular pet site. What happened? It grew. Sure, that was fantastic for traffic, but what it grew into was a site that was solely for black market traders. It happened in a matter of months through referrals of the other users who were into the trade. The usual members left and dispersed. Then came the bots and the scammers.

Userbase
Leaving off on that last note, what sort of userbase are we attempting to attract? I thought it was one of people who were trying to build a community for creative purposes? This site is currently a site of art and inspiration. Of support (and yes, sometime trivial bickering) and of people building sites that you're now encouraging us to exploit.

What happened?

Personally, when I am the one hosting the game I have always done it the right way. Other people that I have played with have fought left and right to disallow the auction of a property they didn't want. So ConFuzzled is the biggest UK FurMeet Convention, I think since RBW stopped running its THE only one as well.

EuroFurence in Germany is bigger than the UK one.

ConFuzzled was originally held in Manchester but when they outgrew the hotel they relocated in the Hinckley Island Hotel in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

Now this year, they've filled that hotel and they had to get an overflow hotel nearby to accommodate the extra furries.

So, earlier today my body suit arrived, and I was wearing it during the day and told Pepper (she nearly exploded).

Hello! This is Wil, my son. This is a picture of him for his science fair project this year. He competed and won at the county level and made it to the state competition! He is 10 years old, and competed at the middle school level, which is 6th/7th/8th grades. He was the only 6th grader that even entered in the county, and took first place for his project: How Color Affects the Absorption of Single Wavelength Light Energy. Due to the trip we took so that he could attend this state science fair, his dream of attending summer camp at CampQuest West this year is jeopardy.

A little about Wil:
I may be bit biased, but he is an amazing young man. We have been homeschooling for two years now, due to the fact that he’s 2 grades ahead in school and has interests that lie outside of the normal school curriculum. He has very giving heart, and donated every cent he had when the Tsunami hit Japan. Hes’ a BIG Ninja Warrior Fan! He’s learning programming and started learning 3D modeling this year in GTT which is a program through Project Lead the Way. (Amazing program, look it up!)

Something people are able to send money to (for art etc.), I'm able to send money to my bank account and able to use it to buy things online.

I just recently learned a lot of unpleasant things about paypal and I'm really tired of paying so many fees for EVERYTHING and them holding my money and waiting forever to give it to me. Also how easily people can flub you over with refunds ( it took me SO long to go through a meaningless dispute, gave the girl my money and then she sent it back with a fee taken out -___- )

The Healing by Jonathan Odell is my current book. It's set in the 1850's, when slavery was still highly present and the story is told by an old lady who recalls some of her childhood event, while taking care of this girl whose parents have died. There is a little bit written in the present of the character, but most of it is written in retrospective.
