The site the layout will be used on is www.mastereventer.com. If you win the contest, you agree to allow your design to be used as a layout for the site. I am setting a deadline of 5/22/2013 on this contest.

Rules/Stipulations:
-If you "win" the contest, I will purchase the design for 75$.
-If you believe your design is worth more than 75$ you can enter it and include the higher price tag in the email you send. If you win, I will pay you the higher price tag, though I will consider the higher price tag when considering which layout to purchase.
-I reserve the right to choose more than 1 winner and buy more than 1 layout OR not to buy any at all.

Part-Time, First Choice

Position: An artist or Team of artists.

I'm looking for an individual who can draw a variety of things, such as maps to pets to items; however, if an artist excels in only one area, pets will be priority and the list for pets (see below) will be completed first. Then I will look for other artists who have similar styles to complete the rest.

My preference is an artist who can do it all but an artist who can do multiple aspects will be a more realistic expectation.

Requirement: Artwork skills similar to the art style required (see Artwork Style) or a style which I feel will fit the theme of the site.
Work is done in a timely fashion.
When site is launched (no date as of now):
one completely new pet released every two weeks, with increase depending on traffic, how many artists hired, and other factors.
Items and other images yet to be scheduled.
Consistently available through e-mail or skype.
Imaginative and ability to give creative input.
A drive to make this website successful.
Available for long-term commitment. Artist is not exclusively hired/commissioned by this website, but other works may not resemble, infringe, or cause a conflict of interest on the websites theme or style.

Goal: The immediate goal is to get images completed to display on Indiegogo as well as Kickstarter to raise funds for $5,000 to continue making the site.

Agreement: The hired artist must understand that all rights to all artwork must be given to the website. The images may or may not be used on outside merchandise or promotional items. (Please refer to “Pay” for revenue.)

Portfolio: Although the website will own the images, all public images (or private images given with explicit permission) can go in artists' portfolio and credit will always be given to artist.

Pay: $700, paid after completed, via Paypal. This can be on a per piece basis or when all pieces are completed, decided by the artist.

Important: Once the $700 is exhausted, a $25 monthly budget will be available. This is for an undetermined amount of time.

$700 will be dispersed among all artists involved. This fund is to cover all, if not most, of the list of images needed below.

Revenue is based on percentage of sales and will be given after sale per item associated. This percentage can be negotiated between artist and owner and can be renegotiated every two years until image is no longer available on the site or merchandise for any reason. Artist will be notified within a reasonable time when cancellation or deletion of image will occur. Sales include cash shop and merchandise, and excludes Indiegogo, Kickstarter and any other fundraisers. There may include additional revenue contracts for merchandise that are sold non-specifically or modified, such as trading cards or t-shirt designs.

If artist discounts commission images (at partial cost to me), the current revenue will increase based on agreed terms and will apply per volunteered image after sale. Not all partially volunteered images will be used in cash shop or merchandise.

Volunteering is artist risk.

Once an image is paid for, it can not be changed to volunteered or partial volunteered with a refund or credit unless agreed upon between artist and owner.

In an event of collaboration between artist and other hired-by-me artists, the higher of the revenue agreement will be given to the hired artists as one entity to be divided among them on their own private terms of which I am not affiliated. In an event of private collaboration with artists who are not hired by me, revenue is based on hired artists agreement and pay is divided up based on private terms of which I am not affiliated. Collaborations are risks of artists involved. Please have non-hired-by-me artists sign a contract stating that the images that they have worked on for this website will be owned by me.

Contracts: There will be 3 contracts to sign, signed by both parties: Revenue, Rights, Working
Additional contracts may be amended to current contracts (see Pay.Revenue).

Image Attributes:
Pets: Pets are to be created to resemble real life counter-parts. This means sub-species must be distinguishable. Line art can be reused if necessary. For instance, one giraffe line art is acceptable, but multiple sub-species' color patterns need to be distinguishable; however, a great dane will not be the same line art as a chihuahua. This is agreed upon by both artist and myself.
