Greetings all,

Some of you may be familiar (or partially so) with my current project, Furtold Prophecies. (Logo above^^) If by chance you are not acquainted with this all information can be found here--http://db.tt/PfJ2MCjM Please take the time to at least skim over that if you are wanting to inquire about the long-term positions on this up-and-coming 'virtual world'.

Artists are expected to draw at least one of the following: Anthro creatures (human-like avatars), items (in the same or similar style to that of the drawn parts of the logo), breed art, banner art, and anything else required at a later date.
Writers will simply be responsible for the creative writing aspect of things, this includes but is not limited to: World/area descriptions, misc site descriptions, quest dialogue, shopkeeper dialogue, and breed descriptions.That said, I am seeking at least two artists and two writers. No current or previous pet-site/sim experience required. Just reliability and lots of free time! Below you may find small applications for either of these positions to be filled out and either sent to me via PM or posted on this thread.

I go by Poltergeist (though just Geist is fine) here and on the pet sites that I've played. I am twenty-nine years old, I have had some experience running and moderating forums in the past (though I understand that the best way to gauge one's experience is to test them) and I believe I am a fairly decent writer. I am more than willing to provide writing samples of one hundred to two hundred words, for people who may be interested in such. If you are, all I ask is that you PM me with the subject that you would like me to write about. I believe I am easy to get along with and one thing I will not do is drag my feet when I am given a task. I am more than willing to offer my services for free; which is why I have posted here instead of trying to charge for my services.

My Virtual Petsite is looking for volunteer moderators and 20 Alpha testers.

Anyone can be an alpha tester. Alpha testers are able to play with the site before general release and can help stamp out any bugs with the site! We are almost at our release point however would like to offer a further 20 people the opportunity to join and help build the site for future members to enjoy. This is a first come first serve opportunity, with a 20 use alpha code. This is so lurkers get the opportunity to join, even if they are not registered at VPL! Once twenty people have joined, the code will no longer allow further registrations.

The alpha code is: alphapass2013 (10 more have been added due to popular demand as of 15/5/13 13:00 GMT)

We are also looking for a few moderators. This is a voluntary position offering the chance to build upon your management and customer skills. Your role will include answering user submitted reports, monitoring sites, monitoring the main forum and monitoring user submissions.

Requirements:
16+ years old, have a passion for virtual pet/sim sites, good communication skills, free time.

I'm looking for a Co-Owner/Programmer (I'd be willing to pay)
A writer (volunteer)
An item artist (volunteer)
A Moderator (I have one but I think 2 is a good number, volunteer)

The idea around the site would be portals and instead of just traveling through the world, you'd have to be a certain level, have certain items, and/or pay a fee to travel, kind of like in the real world. The mission is exploration and your pets gain experience and intelligence by traveling the world around them, not just by reading books. You also gain ranks the more you travel and battle, unlocking new shops, weapons, and privileges. You get one starter pet or "guardian" to start out with but the rest must be caught through exploration and battle!

I plan on getting together a dedicated team, so if you can't commit, please don't bother.

I am an artist and have already drawn two pets, PM me if you're interested/want to see the pets.

So I have worked for a few sites such as Kinopiron (which never really took off) and right now I am currently an artist on Mythodreas, which was formally known as Zetapets.
However, the main reason I am looking for a new site is because, frankly, Mythodreas is getting boring. There are not very many players at all and those who do log in are mainly just staff. Nothing new really happens at all and so I typically just login to see if there is any new updates and then leave. Our programmer disappeared so that stumped us. Over all, I don't see us moving on anytime soon.

So, the only thing I really require is that the website I volunteer for has at least some popularity and is actually cared for. I want to be a part of a community, not just a small group of people.

I have mostly just done pets and items, but I have done some graphics from a while ago.
