BooPets News: Fuzzball Trophies, New Pet, and Makeovers!

Wow, ghouls and gals, we've got a lot of news for you all today!

First of all, the Queen Fuzzball is happy that so many of her children have been brought back safe and sound, and would like to reward the top three BooVillagers who returned Fuzzballs to her!



We have tallied up the scores and the following members have won these amazing Tombstones!

Congratulations to these three for their outstanding efforts, and thank you everyone else for helping to bring these babies home to their nest!

We're not the only ones who have noticed the amount of love that went into bringing these guys home... it seems a new BooPet has arrived on the scene in a response to all the activity!

Give a warm welcome to our newest BooPet, the Slib! This slimy creature originates from caverns deep underground, where runoff from limestone stalactites combines with ancient magical ores to produce a sort of living gel. Slibs begin their lives as marble-sized balls of goo and consume more runoff to increase in size. You can read more about this pet in the latest news post on BooPets.com/news.php.

This pet is also very special. It cannot be directly created. You will have to find some of its slime to transform your current BooPet into a Slib... so look out for this new random event!



It seems the Slib wanted to share the love, especially after seeing so many fuzzballs returned, and has brought with it magical properties that have drastically changed the appearance of our beloved BooPets...

@indysolo621: The Slib comes in all basic colors. It does not yet come in the premium colors. But, the ghoulish green version of Slib is a little different...

I am really sorry you feel that way. Personally I dont think the quality has decreased; they are just different from the old style. Bexxy did a great job with them but her style is widely used and we aimed for something a little more unique to BooPets.

I mean when I compare the new Were Spider to the old Were Spider - I personally think the new one is spectacular!

I don't think the way I worded it was the best way xD Quality is definitely subjective, but the pets have changed a lot. The canine-like one (forget what they're called) looks like a completely different pet especially, when it was my absolute favorite before... now I think it's the worst one. I also feel like the anatomy could use a lot of work and the texturing on some of the pets looks unfinished. They're not really that bad, but there's just the little things and they fact they just look nothing like the pets I adopted when I joined anymore.

Edit: I can't even tell why the new were spider would be called a were spider... it just looks like the spider in a different pose, not furry and feral like before.

The new ones anatomy is just way to off for me, and also the shading.
I am sure some like the new style though.
