Too many to count!!
Seeing as no one has made a game-play summary-review of this game yet:
The way you find your Mobbles is like Geomon - you have to use Wi-Fi with your location services on to find them. Unlike Geomon though, you can see the appearances of the Mobbles that are scattered throughout the map and you can pick which one you'd like. The app is also limited to a maximum of 54 yards to catch your Mobble too, so it encourages everyone to get your butt off your seat and WALK. Walk to the place you want to catch more Mobbles! Move those legs! Not only that, but there are always new Mobbles appearing in your map DAILY.
Catching them is rather humorous. Mobbles you try to catch will try to move around your screen quickly and you have to tap on them repeatedly until they're dazed, then you catch them. I like this part the best since catching them made it feel really interactive.
The graphics are filled with cartoony, cel-shaded monsters with relaxing music to match as your care for them. While Geomon gives you a 'Pokemon' like experience, Mobbles give you the real 'virtual-pet' feel one could crave for. Feed them, play with them, give them naps, flick them in the air and so much more! There's a good amount of pet-interaction here! You might be surprised what you could do to your pet.
The more you take care of them, the more money you can gain. The game offers dailies for you to do that changes throughout the day, from morning to night. These are optional of course, but if you follow them you'll gain a lot more money.
What's the money for? Well for one, it's to buy food. Second, is customization! Each Mobble has its own clothes to choose from, and you can buy these clothes to dress them up. Each Mobble also has their own background to call home, but they're rather pricey for a new player and it won't hurt to stick to the normal, cheap rooms first.
Overall, a fun game for kids and adults alike. More fun if your Android/iPhone has an internet subscription on it's own so you can reach places that have no Wi-Fi hotspots.
P.S - You can trade these little buggers too. Add me? Here's my username: vanillaeclair
