This is a game I was recently introduced to by a player on Aywas and I've quickly grown attached to it. You're a field agent who is assigned to catch Espers -- creatures that are supposed to be invisible and all around us, but invisible. The game is mostly GPS-based, but the Espers you find also depend on other factors. You'll only find certain Espers in hot weather, cold weather, rain, snow, cities, mountains and forests! There are even some that are only found in certain hemispheres.

You can add friends to your list and trade with them to get the ones not available in your area. There's also fairly active forums where people talk about the Espers as they come out, trying to "research" how to find them and such. Plus, a real-time chatroom in game that you can pop up at any time to talk or try to find a trading partner.

I definitely think it's worth a shot for anyone interested in a game with a unique pet-catching thrill. There's also a website where you can look at information, including the catchable Espers.

I've been eyeing this when I started using the iPad. But because of some stupid glitch/problem, the game crashed when I started it on the iPad every time.
Finally it's working! xDDD

Unfortunately it does, I'm pretty sure :c It's probably best for an iphone that's always got internet, but I still play it at wifi spots on my ipad.

I like how one finds monsters, but it's pretty meh after that. It eats up a lot of battery power too x_x
