no problem is as big as another problem. both cancer and hunger claim lives of people regardless of age. kids die of cancer too. do not dare say cancer is not as big a problem as something else, it is fucking disgusting to think and even worse to read.

The point is and will remain that although we cannot cater the the needs of everyone the website is sill pretty damn cool in my opinion. For those of you who don't like it feel free to steer clear from it. Although I would love to live in a world where everyone accepted everyone and tolerance was of abundance I know this is far off from the reality we are living.

They're both major issues, you're correct. So isn't animal abuse, people getting shot, etc.
There's a lot of issues within this world that we all live in, and its hard to cater to all those specific things.

I have as well, so thanks for your opinion/view. I didn't single it out though so I'm not sure why you're getting heated about it? It's not like I said "Cancer can kill you with ease", I didn't say that. So thus, don't twist my words. And also, if you've been doing your research - they've been trying to fight cancer and find ways to beat it. And plus, you also have a lot of people dying overseas - from war - from not getting enough food - to other things.

Cancer is not the only "huge" problem this world has.

You have to understand, it's not all about pleasing the consumers, and virtual pet sites are hardly a business. There's a point where the original views of the site are alienated by people who demand it be changed for them. Then what value does it have to her? As an owner, you please yourself first, because of the dedication that was poured into the game, and the money spent, and then you take into consideration constructive feedback. You're saying it's all about you.

Before you start planning a site, you have to think long about what users want, what would draw them to the site, so that you don't face such 'alienation' issues later. Yes, you spend money, but it's someone else who pays it back and then gives you profits. OR you could make a compromise, to keep both sides happy.

It's not about me. Never has been. It's about us, users. And you just seem to change behavior and whatnot just because the site is supposed to 'promote' goodness and all. It seems to me as if you consider Angely to be a goddess, and everything should go her way, when it should be the other way round, although you seem unable to understand that.

As for finding a petsite, I don't play any, so no need to wish me good luck. Thank you

kingdom sky is catering to cancer because its important to the owner but that doesnt mean that other Problems arent either!!
then you fire off asking why it isnt contributing to other charities, and proceed to say 'oh but we cannot cater to everything!'

you also completely avoided my point. i would have appreciated an apology at least. ive lost family members and friends to cancer, and to hear some jerk say 'it's not a big issue!!!' is awful.

If I remember correctly, Kingdom Sky staff didn't want the project or their plans be known until it was closer to opening. However, it was VPL (a.k.a. Cpvr) who went forward and posted information that was less than correct, and attempted to make the site (and myself) bad in front of the public. VPL has never truly given Kingdom Sky the chance that it deserved or the admiration they earned. If Cpvr had ignored his "sources" and allowed KS to grow privately until they were ready for the public, there wouldn't be any issues with date changes, disappointment, ect.

So it wasn't Kingdom Sky staff who began the hype in the first place, that's this forums fault. So I find that putting blame for any hype on KS is wrong... they merely chose to play along after VPL decided to post information on them from the beginning. And even to this day, you're harsh, challenging, and discouraging. If Kingdom Sky isn't of your taste, then you guys have sites you can enjoy or look forward to instead; such as Mahodai.

I may not agree with everything that KS has done, or will probably do in the future. But at least I have enough respect for them as human beings to let them do things their way and see how things turn out.

But aside from that, I feel that KS staff should ignore VPL for the time being. You guys have your own wishes, expectations, and dreams. I say that if you want a site that's all smiles and happiness, then go for it. Don't let these people and their criticism steal the attention that's required on your site. Some people need to understand that you're going to be unique in your own ways, despite the criticism, hate, disappointment, ect. You shine in what ways you feel is best for KS.

I see too many people being overly harsh and ridiculous with their comments. KS hasn't even had much of a chance to make mistakes - they only just opened yesterday, and you - VPL - are just looking for excuses to be critical.

Everyone - even websites and communities - deserve to shine in their own way, and they deserve the respect and freedom to do so.

I think there is quite a misunderstanding here just because it isn't YOUR thing doesn't mean others won't like it. There have been about 60-80 users or so since yesterday and they are for the most part -because I can't really speak for everyone- pretty damn happy with the site Just wanted to lay that out there. In my books angel is an amazing human being. Not a goddess, no.

I don't doubt the fact that Angely is nice and I don't doubt the fact that users are happy with the site either. I've seen the layout and the art and I immediately turned into a supporter, because it has GOOD art! I just don't like religion shoved on my face in any way. That's my problem. As for the rest, from what I've seen KS is a pretty good site.
