The Battle is Nearing...
Who remembers battle testing back during December? Yes, it's been that long. Even farther back than that, you might remember our original announcement in the chronicles about a new battle system. Between planning and development, we've spent over 6 months working hard and bringing this lovingly to fruition. We put in a lot of hard work for the December preview and were not dissapointed.

Since then, we have kept on with development and taken into consideration much of the feedback and support you all have given. Aside from new features, more depth, balancing and exciting new challenges, we have also made multiple improvements in the interfaces which you see in-battle and before battle.

Remember the clunky old way you were equipping and unequipping items before each battle? If you needed to change out 1 weapon, 1 armor, 1 consumable and 1 ability, you'd be changing through nearly 15 pages and making over 30 clicks. We've completely redone the way you equip your pets (from the battle portal; inventory still works the same. But come on, once you see the new easy-to-use interface, you won't even think about equipping from the inventory) and reduced the number of page changes to 1. You can equip and unequip any piece of gear from a single easy-to-use page with a single click per item.

The battle screen itself has had some cleaning and organization done, while also providing some more detailed information about your Pet without needing to revisit the pet panel.

Aside from the easily-noticed, multiple little changes have been made to the way things work that make for more depth and variability in battle. We've increased the level cap from 9 to 99 and think you'll have plenty to keep you playing all the way there.

We're nearing the official (and permanent) release of the battle system and expect more semi-public testing to begin in the next week or so. So keep your eyes peeled for information about how to get involved!

Well, who's ready to see Misticpets battle dome come out? What are some features you'd like to see in regards to their battle dome? What do you think - will the battle dome create some hype that Misticpets' hasn't had in years?

As said before... I look forward to this!

I really want to see how this all turns out. Battle Arena's or Domes are sometimes my favorite feature of any site... and Misticpets' first dome was definitely in need of some updates.

It's still under development, I believe. Has anyone heard anything in regards to Misticpets' upcoming battle dome? @Zarabeythe @Elz

I've been checking now and then, haven't seen anything about it yet, but I am definitely looking forward to see how it turns out. Battle domes are my favorites.

Afraid I can't really disclose any information about it haha, but its definetley being worked on.
