The truth is, behind every rotten kid, there are rotten parents.

Their parents are to blame for this one because if they let their kids run wild, of course they're going to pick up bad traits, especially harassing, and bullying someone else because they're not on their level, so to say. This story is just so ridiculous on so many grounds. The bus monitor was just doing her job, and she even told them to stop, and they screamed "Shut the fuck up", I couldn't watch the whole thing because it was breaking my heart.

Wow this is awful.

I just want to say however, despite this awfulness, this is not "new" to the current generation. Bullying has existed since the beginning of time, and I think its stupid to pinpoint it as "this generation" when really we're just more aware of it b/c of the internet. I mean, without youtube, none of us would've even known this was happening.

Now that this is in the hands of /b/ and the mainstream media, I think these kids will get what's coming to them though.

What I'm wondering is why these kids weren't punished, or forced to stop. They're cussing, they're bullying, they're threating, and all of it was directed towards a superior. I would say that is easily grounds for expulsion for each and everyone one of them.

For the next year, perhaps. Their school year ended today. New York also has a bullying law from what I've read from some of those news sites. And I don't get it, why didn't the bus driver get involved with this?
