New Neopets game coming: thoughts

Well, Neopets has recently released sneak peeks of an upcoming game - they posted about it on their Facebook.

What does everyone think about the sneak peeks?

It looks like a simple platformer to be honest. Nothing original, but maybe it will have some twists.
Its a little too pixelated too. But that could just be me.

The previews look strange.. I dunno.. Neopets is crazy big..It kind of takes away the anticipation of this.

@Gabby Yeah I know right? And since they already have a gazillion flash games, no difference will be made. But if a game like this came to BreePets or BooPets or something, then it would be big.

I was hoping it was another video game. D: (I absolutely LOVE their Darkest Faerie game for the PS2.... I've beaten and played it a gazillion times)

If only BooPets had enough $$ I wish they did. It would really put them on the map, officially.

You'd think a large corporation like Viacom would make something less Game Boy-esque. And since theyr'e so big, they aren't really doing much for the mood, it just makes them look bad... Like you have a lot of money.. but you're cheap about the graphics... I am totally impressed...

Not even when Adam began Neopets did they have pixelated stuff...

Ya I said the same.. I thought it was a consule too.. At least I wouldn't feel so sad about the horrible graphics.

But this game totally makes sense if you realize that they have 8-bit colored pets, and that 'indie' game is totally trendy now. Ever heard of Bit Trip Ninja and so many other games like that? I personally really enjoy pixels, and I'm sure I'm not alone.
