Do you submit your game to online directories

Having your game listed in online directories is a good way to promote your game and also get some few links.

So, in this thread, I'll some some directories that are for online games:

Those are some that will drive pretty good traffic to your game. These sites helped a lot of games grow in the past, and I don't see any problem with getting your online game listed on them. And plus, more links are always good. So, if you know of any other online games directories, please list them here.

You're welcome, those sites helped a lot of pet sites grow in the past. And also, if the gaming directories allow it, make sure you post some screenshots too!

I'm not sure http://www.mmorpg.com/ or http://www.gamesites200.com/ should be there though? MMoRPG has restrictions that most pet sites won't meet (ability to talk to other players directly in the game world, not in a forum / lobby / chat room) and doesn't have an appropriate category. Gamesites200 doesn't have a category either, and not any pet games that I could see. Maybe I missed them?

Yes, because they accept pet sites as well. Just submit it to their regular games category - its called spreading your links out across the internet, thus possibly increasing your search engine rankings.

And it also helps drive in new members.

I couldn't see any evidence that MMorpg accepted pet sites. Their submission rules seem to make it clear that Pet Sites don't qualify, they don't have a Pet Site category and there are no pet sites listed that I could see.

You can submit it to their MMORPG section because they allow that. We got Zetapets listed there a long time ago, and it brought in a lot of traffic. Just because it says they're not allowed doesn't mean you shouldn't try.
