Google chrome now available on iPhone/iPad, mobile now

Looks like Google is trying to get a piece of the browser market share on Mobile - as they've just released their browser App - in the app store.
    Information http://techcrunch.com/2012/06/28/goo...me-ihone-ipad/

Today at Google I/O, the company announced that it is launching a new version of its Chrome browser, which will be available for iPhone and iPad users. The new app should be on the Apple App Store today, allowing users to sync all their tabs, bookmarks, and credentials across all their devices.

Importantly, it’s not just the iPhone and iPad through which users can sync all their information — the latest version of Google Chrome will let users access all the tabs that are open across multiple devices. Google VP of Chrome, Brian Rakowski demoed the capability today, showing how he could use open tabs on Chrome browser from his Macbook, Chromebook, Android mobile phone and Android tablet. Then showed the same capability on the iPhone.

In addition to browser tabs, users can sync bookmarks across devices. They can also sync their login credentials, so that they don’t have to re-enter all their information whenever they use a different device.
What does everyone think about this? Will you be switching your mobile browser to Google chrome?

You can now according to this news reporting site http://www.mobilemag.com/2012/06/27/...h-google-play/

Available as a free (of course) download through the Google Play Store, Chrome for Android is currently only compatible with devices running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (or higher). It’s unclear whether Google will eventually port it to Honeycomb and Gingerbread, since they’d rather you keep upgrading to the newest version of Android anyhow.

You can expect to get tabbed browsing, of course, but Chrome for Android also has incognito. There’s also the ability to sync your open tabs with your desktop to read later and the ability to switch tabs “the way you would fan a deck of cards.” They’ve made some minor UI adjustments that are meant to make the browser better for tablets too.

I'm trying to install it but it keeps say "the item you tried to buy is no longer available". Has anyone installed it yet? It looks great from the screenshots.

It was just announced a few years ago, try in a few hours as it might not be fully out just yet.

    I've got it now.

I've been using Firefox on my computer for so long now but I'm going to switch to Chrome for the synced tabs and sending pages from your computer to your mobile.

Google Chrome for iOS has permanently replaced Safari on my dash. Heehee. So happy with the app. The design is AMAZING. It's flawless. Ugh. I can't even begin describe what this means to me as a mobile app designer. XD
