Netflix, Pinterest, and Instagram down?

At 11.21pm EST last night an outage at Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud in North Virginia went down.

Netflix, Pinterest, and Instagram have all tweeted that they are aware of the problem and are trying to get it all back up soon!

UPDATE: Pinterest is up and running!

There was a major storm where their servers were hosted - which knocked out their power. Twitter was going crazy about these sites being down. Especially instagram. Glad I wasn't watching Netflix last night, I would have been ticked off.

It affected many other sites as far as I'm aware of, but since I do not really use any of them I don't particularly care.
