I'm not very good at this sort of thing, so I'll try to keep it brief and simplish.

My name's Christie, from Hong Kong, and I just joined this site after lurking and stalking its pages for several months on end. I'm just about to go into uni, and at the moment I'm waiting to see which universities are willing to take me and what subject I'll get into!

Usually one can find me at home reading and writing as I have been for most of my life so far. I also enjoy cooking, trying out weird foods and odd combinations and can never quite pass up a challenge, sometimes to my own fault. Also a bit of a pyromaniac, as my glee when handling a flame gun can tell.

I don't keep any real pets at home, as my mother is allergic and terrified of them in general and our apartment block doesn't allow them, so instead I compensate with a massive stuffy collection and going to check new pet sites to join, which is kind of why I love playing them so much. Another half of it is because I enjoy gaming - Dragon Age, Professor Layton and some others are my favourites that I play on a regular basis.

Gabby: Thank you! Well, all sorts, really - usually it's something that I see on television or when I'm off reading through cookbooks - then I think "I HAVE to try it!" Recently, I've been trying out some French desserts, failed at making a tiramisu (it turned liquid). Otherwise, it's Chinese.
