Post 12yr old daughter posted a bad picture, parents make her

Well, I'm not sure what to think about this type of parenting, but check this:

Look, parents..being parents! Last week the Mother of this 12 year old had her post her punishment online after finding out she had posted pics online that she shouldn't have (alcohol). "like" & "share" if you approve :-) ..savannah

Do you agree with this type of parenting? Or what do you think about this?

I think a 12-year-old shouldn't be on Facebook to start with.

I agree, I think 14 is a way better age to allow them to use social media. And plus, I don't know why her parents allowed her on Facebook at that age. I mean, come on..

I'm not sure I agree with the 14 being a way better age. I think if you have a mature kid over the age of 12 that they should be allowed on social networks, as long as they are monitored by one of their guardians. (The guardian has an account too and constantly checks what their son/daughter says)

Kids will be kids so of course they won't stop getting social media pages, but the parents need to monitor them more

lulz It's a nice move from the parents.
If I had a kid on a social media site, I'd watch their 'socializing' like a hawk.
So they don't post stupid things. >_>

Once they're 18 though. lulz Have fun kids.
