How can I help promote Virtual pet list?

Well, here are some ways that we can think of.
1: Tell your friends about us! Ask them to tell their friends as well.
2: Place a link to VPL in your signature on other forums such as:

Like pet sites? Come and discuss them on, Virtual pet list.com or something similar to that.

4: Know of a blogger? Ask him/her to mention us and link to us in a post.
5: Did you want to post a blog comment on another blogger's website? Comment back, with a link to VPL. Of course, providing quality content relating to the blog post.
6: Do you use Twitter? Follow Virtual pet list and tell your friends about us! @Virtua lpetlistc today
7: Tell your friends on the pet sites that you play. Tell them over messaging, over comments, or on the forums if its allowed!

Those are some great ideas. Other things you could try are rewards for referring users. I'm not exactly sure what type of rewards, but you could potentially setup rotating advertisements, and for every say, 5 people you refer you get 25 clicks. The actual numbers would obviously depend on traffic. But I see pet site owners as the primary people (Not necessarily the only, of course) who will refer in mass amounts, and I think this would appeal greatly to them.

I could set something like that up for you, as well (programming-wise I mean, for example to track/count clicks/views).

There's a viral marketing tool by Mike Filsaime called Traffic Zombie, that is unique and would fit the bill for your needs.

Take a look at it, and let me know your thoughts on it.

I'd like to try it on a few of my sites as well, so maybe I can help you out.

Ya, its allowed on Twitter, Facebook, and I'm sure you can talk about us over mailing systems on all the pet sites.
