Congratulations. Was it a pretty rough road quitting? I know my mom gets real grumpy when she quits, then she goes back because she can't stand behind like that.

well i cant say i smoke cigarettes .. but i used to smoke an ounce a week of good bud and it didnt seem to effect me negatively for a while but after i stopped my body felt so much better even though my brain was telling me it wasnt.. mucho psychologically addictive its rly mind over matter

It really is because that caused problems with my mind. Smoking cigarettes are addictive, but I plan to quit one day. And on the subject of bud, it caused psychosis for me before and it was really bad. I don't ever want to experience that again[the psychosis that is.]

Another addict here. Besides coffee, smoking is my other addiction. I started when I was 13 and steamed my way into my thirties. I smoke about 20 cigarettes per day. Favorite brands are Pall Mall, Chesterfield and Davidoff. I tried to quite a few times, without success. Now I will only quit when I'm pregnant, as I want to give the baby the best start. But if it's just for myself, I don't find it necessarry to quit. It helps me release stress. My husband smokes as well, though not as much and he can go days without, not something I'm capable of doing.

have you tried that whole electronic cigarette thing? .. it supposedly curbs the nicotine cravings

I agree. I tested one at a mall near me and I was like "WTF, this doesn't have a whole lot of nicotine", I see a lot of stores selling them though. The only good about them is that you can smoke them in a mall, basically anywhere. @x3mxpxaddctd
