    Favorite songs? Favorite music artists?

So, what are some of your favorite songs? Can you need some of them? Or do you have too "many" likes to have a favorite? If so, let's talk about our favorite songs here.

Or, what about your favorite music artists? Do you have any?

Some of my favorite songs are:
    No help - Z-ro
    Wiz Khalifa - G'd up
    Wiz Khalifa - Goodbye
    50 cent - Many Men
    Slim Thug - I run

Some of my favorite music artists include:
    Z-ro
    Trae
    Slim Thug
    Old favorite 50 cent
    T.I.
And that's about it, and a few other likes.

Re: Favorite songs? Favorite music artists?

As for songs, I don't want to get into them cause I have many, but I will mention a few of my favorite artists.

Among others they include Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey, Nas, Donny Hathaway, Jay Z, 2Pac, Method Man, Ja Rule, Beyonce etc.

I haven't listened to Ja Rule's music in a long time ever since him and 50 cent were going at it. He made a lot of cool songs with Ashanti though that I really liked. What are some of your favorite Pac songs? Did you hear Nas' new song, bye baby that was directed to his baby momma? Song was really good. @Gabby enjoyed it as well I believe.

Method man: he's pretty good with collabs with Redman as well. I'm listening to 2pac as we speak. I like Biggie as well but I don't have a lot of his music.

Pac was ruthless on certain tracks when he wanted to be. I loved how he could change up his flow and make tracks for all type of people. I'll admit, Dear Mama is still one of my all time favorite tracks. Hail Mary is also a good track.

Oh, his album recently came out as well. It's called Life is good. Nas really did a good job with his new album as well. I'm also liking Kendrick Lamar, he likes to change his voice on tracks, but the way he spits, he reminds me of Eminem.

Ah yes, I have his album, a masterpiece. I guess I've been listening to Reach Out and World's An Addiction too much to give any space to the other songs. =P

Those are classic to me. Nas really does need to get more love in this world. He's such a good rapper. Do you remember when he dissed 50 cent? OMG, that was tough.

I remember his Ether track as well, that was some good shit.

@cpvr He's the only one who's keeping it real, the way rap should be. The others have gone commercial to sell as much shit as possible.

That is so true. I agree. The others like 50 cent, Jay-Z and the others have some major endorsements these days. Heck, Nas even lost one of his houses not too long ago. You know the rap game doesn't make him too much money, but he got more endorsements he'd probably be well off. He doesn't think about it like that, he just likes coming out with good music that has meaning. You notice how people will talk about Nas all day and Jay-Z? They've made a lot of impact in this rap game/world, same with Kanye West, but he's still growing as an artist.

Exactly, but then again kudos to Nas, for not joining in the mainstream bandwagon. It is commendable when an artist resists the trend of going commercial and starting to make shitty music just for the money. Us old school hip hop fans, need someone to provide us with that feel, and that's exactly what Nas has been delivering. And he's touring now and Lauryn Hill joined him, can't get any better than this.
