Well I see it as more as a precaution for KS... one that I feel is a good one, at that, considering it's not even open yet and some people tend to behave moronically at times...

BUT, I get what Drea is saying and if anyone else shares the same opinion, they're not entirely wrong. But in Kingdom Sky's case, it's for the best. At least for now, anyways.

I can still see the updates, items, and pets, so it doesn't bother me personally.

Not to upset you more than you already seem to be, but I'm agreeing with Myrianna and Drea. I'm also sort of confused as to why you are watermarking them anyway since once the site opens, I'm assuming like the rest of the pet sites out there, you won't have any watermarks. I can understand the use of them, but seems like an overkill. But hey, your site, like you said, you can do what you want with it.

Well with the site not open it is not as easy to have a copyright statement to easily point at for the art and there are lots of people out there who think if they find a image on Google they can up load it to DA as theirs.
Once the site opens it is a bit easier for people to see them as 'owned' by a company.

I really don't see the watermarks as being a problem in the least.

If it's (the site/company) registered and has a trademark, anything under that makes it just as easy for a lawyer/anyone to see she owns it and it's the same amount of effort and difficulty to deal with the issue on both sides regardless of when it happens. But like I said, she is welcome to watermark all over her stuff, it's just myself and a few others find it unappealing, distracting, and overall unneeded. Nothing wrong with tossing out an opinion

I'm sorry you feel I'm not "mature" for thinking that this whole watermark discussions is completely overblown and unnecessary. A simple hey angel, nice pics but could you reduce the opacity of the watermarks a little? Was all that was necessary. Instead I'm called paranoid and immature for trying to diffuse this discussion with some humor.

I think EVERYONE just needs to calm down and listen to some soothing tribal music...
