Do you still go out to trick or treat?

With Halloween fast approaching, I was curious - how many people here still go out to trick or treat? I know I'm old now so I don't do it unless I'm taking my daughter to go(hasn't happen in about a year or two), but other than that I'd just walk around with my parents while they do it with the kids.



How about you? Do you still go out to trick or treat, or do you just go buy candy at the store?

If I could I totally still would. Sadly I'm not home where I can, I'm in college, so I'll be staying in eating candy and watching flicks all night.

I love Halloween. I actually don't like chocolate or the majority of candy but I love Trick or Treating just because it's a cool event. That being said lol if I could get away with it without dirty looks and comments I totally would. Alas, I cannot lol but I do enjoy passing out candy to kids and looking at their cute costumes

Well, now a days, no i don't, but thats because NO ONE FREAKING DOES ANYTHING.
I took my little brothers last year, and they got half a pillow case TOGETHER. I remember when I was young, we came home with at least a FULL pillow case. Now you just walk from house to house... and get no answer, or expired popcorn (WTF). But i still dress up and go to the bar contests.

I wish I had kids some times so I could watch them get excited. I however am ging to stock up on candy and scary movies.

This is very true. Back home in my neighborhood, people were getting less and less involved every year. It sucks :/

Yeah where I use to live we would see hardly any trick or treaters. Will see this year though since I have moved.

I like dressing up for it when I can. Last time I dressed up for it I was a zombie.

Nah. I stopped when I was about 13/14. Usually I just watch scary films and hand out candy, or just sleep through it.

We were going to take my nephew last year trick or treating, but he fell asleep. Aha, he was still too young probably anyway (about 1.5). I think he will be more excited this year!

Ya, that happened to my siblings last year - they used to get full pillow cases of candy - now they're lucky to get even half of that. I guess we could blame it on the economy or less people are celebrating Halloween?

I don't think it's economy, really. Least not for my neighborhood. (Though honestly, how much is a bag of candy? Three bucks? And it's only once a year.) A lot of the kids in my neighborhood are growing up and not going out as much and many of the parents have their kids in college, so they don't give out candy. Sucks for the ones who do go out. Least my parents still do it every year.
