I think a better way to do the poll would be per entry rather than per artist, that way you know exactly which banner the most people like, and you don't get any distortion in the numbers from people voting for different banners by the same artist. Also, by listing entries rather than artists' names you'd avoid the popularity contest issue.

For example, based on the numbers at the time of posting, both Arj and Fall have 5 votes each, tying them for 2nd place, but since Arj submitted two entries this makes it ambiguous as to who would actually take 2nd place. If those who voted for Arj all favoured the same banner, then Arj and Fall are tied for 2nd place. If not, Fall is in 2nd place, and Arj in 3rd. I think this ambiguity will make it difficult to decide the results of this contest.

Yeah I asked for people to post who they voted for because of the incidents of the last poll contest. People were creating multiple accounts and voting for the same person. That is why for the post rule as well. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone, but unless we can find another way to control the votes this is how it has to be done. If you guys have other suggestions I am indeed open to them.

But I think we'll be running contests a little differently considering the poll is a tad bit redundant as votes have to be conformed by me anyways.
