Actually this computer is brand new. Just got it in Feb. for my birthday as a gift from my whole family

My Macbook just hit 1 year old last year if I remember correctly.

My other computer I wanna say is 5-6 years old and still runs like a dream if you give him 15 minutes to warm up when he gets started up =].

My Toshiba 17 inch laptop is 3 years old and going strong Had to change the batteries twice, plus fix some parts that broke, but all in all it's in pretty good condition xD

About a week or two. The Genius Bar gave up on repeatedly breaking my old one, so they replaced it entirely.

Almost a year now, this laptop was a birthday gift from my grandparents last year (:
Still runs well, although it has started getting a lot warmer when I'm running certain applications for a long time, so I might need to start being more careful. (The silicon in my previous laptop was literally melting and turning to glass at the end.)

What do you mean they managed to kill its battery? My laptop has been saying for a while now that my battery needs to be replaced. But, I just keep it plugged in and I don't have any problems.

Batteries are like 2-4 hours without charge, but my family isn't exactly tech savvy, and will leave the charger in when they shouldn't be. This has killed the battery. Next laptop I get, noone's touching it. >.>;

By kill, I mean battery life is like 30mins now.

I payed around $680 I think it was, which I thought was good because if I bought this computer from Dell it would most likely be at least 2k.
