How old is your computer?

I have this newish HP Pavilion dv6 lappytop. Had it for... mmm... nearly 2 years now?

Very tempted to get a new one.

Yeah with PCS and Laptop you're supposed to reformat it once a year? XD

Well, I think you can reformat as often as possible(someone correct me if I'm wrong). Did you buy a new one?

I bought my macbook pro in 2011. I'm about to sell it and build a hackintosh though. I usually upgrade every 2 years or so.

Well some parts have been recently replaced, some have not. I built the base system myself in 2006. Since then I've replaced the video card several times, new power supply, extra ram, and several DVD drives. Also replaced all the cooling fans and got a new CPU cooler. In fact, the only original parts are the processor itself, the motherboard, and the case.

Everything else has been upgraded. Runs like a champ!

Yeah those aren't the best PCs lol I bought one back when I actually had credit and gutted it to add some parts for my custom computer.

My main desktop - DELL Dimension 9100 - 7 years ago - Added RAM to this bad boy when I was doing AI related stuff
My gaming desktop - Custom built - 4 years ago
My work laptop - DELL XPS17 - 1.5 years ago

That said, I want to buy a macbook pro so I don't always need to use my work laptop for stuff.

My new laptop is only an hour old. I just finished getting it up and running. Now I'm waiting until I get paid to buy a USB or something.
