He really does need to update more. Just wondering but did anyone see the utter shit fest people threw recently =|? When Random Chibs Potion was released into Upgrades? A few people got under aged for voicing their dismay and opinions in a civil manner.

I wrote a blog post on Marapets a few months ago and I agree. It's Ian fault what has happened to the site - especially the not updating and such. He used to update the site constantly with new things.

It's more-so right now "Ian's trying to do his one-update a day to re-attract members", and what he says, even if the rule is unwritten, stands. The age of the nonexistent update leavers is over... it's now more the age of the fed-up loyal players... this, coming from an RCer who spends a good 1hour a day at least on Mara.
I was part of the fit, I was more steamed over the underages.
Ian's in no place to be laying down the law, when he has to wait months to update his own work for us, the people who support him.

I've read both of your posts. And I agree, the only reason he released the AU is he needed to pay for his phone.. so yes it is Ian's fault. I mean come on I get bragging about stuff, but really he should keep his facebook covered.

I used to stand up for Ian but not anymore. He's not trying to get old members back. If you look at his facebook, you'd see that he was talking about bill collectors calling him because he has unpaid debts and other things along those lines. Then all of a sudden expensive account upgrades get released. He's just going to make his money and then leave again. He made a big fuss about being on mara for 66 hours last week and boasting about how that's more time than he spent on mara in total last year. He's forgotten about the days when he cared about marapets and not just the easy money he can make off of us.

@Minaj - I was as well. They voiced their opinion in a civil manner. I've seen others countless times take their opinions much farther then they should and nothing ever happened to them. People had a right to complain after pay 100 mil for an item to it now be down to 25-30 mil.

@DaSpork- What's Ian been posting on his FB O_o? How he's making money off the hundreds of suckers on there? (Will admit I'm one too O_e'...But I've always been for shiny things).

I have been a sucker for blowing my money on mara. But not to the excess of some members where they'd spend 1500 a month! Minaj posted it he was getting phone calls from bill collectors and such.. and suddenly AUs worth 15pounds come out! And lol once we mentioned it on forum it was deleted. Yes, I believe there are also some screenies out there. He blatantly admitted how he pretty much released everything right after his bills came in, then moaned about the time he spent doing it.
And then, he takes a few suggestions, then disappears. I really, really get steamed over these things.
Not to mention, about the underaging, our opinion is ares. Telling us to take it to MSN, which we technically aren't even supposed to be spreading, is just childish and shows how they can't handle a situation without bs'ing something.
