I actually wonder what makes this site worth $250 when it doesn't have much scripts made, a whole lot of art, nor a lot of revenue???? And plus, an "upcoming owner" could get a lot of scripts made for that price, instead of forking that much for a site with barely anything to do.

I understand you're trying to make money based around your art images, layout, and a few scripts, but this isn't a quality buy for someone who's looking to join into the pet site market.

But if its all your art images, that's cool. And if it doesn't sell as a site package, you should try selling the art pieces together or something - in an art package.

In addition, it's hosted for free, so no bills a month.
In any regard, I was kind of curious myself. What you just said though, cpvr, gave me the inspiration to offer her a proposition.

@Moonlight If you're interested, I was thinking maybe I could take the site off your hands and develop it further until you have the time to return. Unless you don't think you'll ever be able to run the game even down the road
The main concern I have is the price. I don't think the package is worth the price, personally. Perhaps if the price is split, but for one person to pay for all that in complete, it's kind of insensible. I would be curious to know why you are asking so much, as I personally disagree with the price.

I'm moderately interested in this, but the price is a bit high.

I'd want more scripts than what this has too, I think.

It's most the art etc. that makes up that price. I'm willing to bargain though if somebody wishes. And @Gabby;, I'll admit I did base it on the price of it added together separately, though I did reduce the price a bit. And could you PM me about your proposition? I'd like to know a bit more about it.

I've revised the price. I'm willing to sell it straight out for $225, or if anybody wishes, they may bargain with me for lower.

    Re: Petsite For Sale

I think your price is absolutely fair, or actually, unfair for you, and overly cheap for your buyer.

4 different species - at around $25 a pet, that's already $100. Plus the recolors, don't know if you paid for those. 12 items for AT LEAST 2 dollars an item, $24, plus the recolors. Another $20-25 for the bunny drawing, 5 more items in the second image of art ($10), the little guy with the monocle ($10ish?). 10 avatars, animated and non-animated- at least $1 each, though $2 is more fair in my books. So maybe $15 for the avatars. 3 sets of smileys, probably at least $5? And then a pretty banner. At least worth $10. Then the banner from each page, the base on with the stars. Another $5 at least.

Not to mention the absolutely beautiful layout, with pre-coded CSS and pre-written rules. The layout has got to be worth AT LEAST $100, if not more. For the sake of argument I'll say $100 for the images, and at least another $30 for it to be coded probably.

As for the coding, log in/log out plus register page, that's got to be worth around $20 minimum. I don't know the quality of the code, though.
Then there's even the storyline, already written.

    4 pets + recolors - $100
    12 items plus recolors - $24
    bunny - $20
    5 items - $10
    monocle guy - $10
    10 avatars - $15
    smileys - $5
    banner - $10
    page banner - $5
    layout + coding - $130
    login/logout function - $20
    domain name - $8
    storyline - ???
    ---------------------------------------------
    $357.00

Not to mention the priceless fact that this site is known by the community already, which is endlessly important. You can't value that, but other sites spend hundreds of dollars on advertisements to do what Astraesia already has.

I really think you guys are being rude to Moonlight. This site is worth much more than $225 and if anyone thinks any less I think they're crazy/cheap.

I used my general knowledge of pricing for this and I generally went with the bare minimum (as in less than minimum wage) prices for items, pets, etc. So don't pick me apart for my ideas of prices, haha..

@Reimne;; The bunny, monocle guy etc. are thrown in for free, and there isn't an actual domain name, so by your pricing it would be $309. But thank you for your support nevertheless.

Oh okay. My bad. There's still the unknown cost of advertising, the story, the recolors, all the decisions already made (the name, the avatar sizes, pet sizes, organization, written rules, etc, but those things are harder to price. ) :3 Good luck selling your site. c: I hope you get what it's worth.

I'm not interested in arguing and especially not on this thread - maybe rude is the wrong word choice. I just think it's unfair to consider the price is too much for what you get. It's a fair price, I think.
    It's just my opinion though, so don't take it too seriously c;
