    Life.

I was thinking to myself: If I had the choice, would I choose not to be born?

So, that is my question to you guys.

I figured that the obvious answer would be "No, I'm glad I was born, and such." But, think about it. If you weren't born, you wouldn't be a slave to society; you wouldn't revolve around money, you wouldn't be stressed due to bills, various emotions, and responsibilities/obligations.

I suppose younger members may not be able to fully understand all the difficulties in life...

Don't confuse my question with suicide, please. Don't answer based on how good/bad your life is. If one is successful in life then their obvious answer would be no... If one has had a shitty life then their answer would obviously be yes. I guess it will be hard not to answer based on your own life, but please try.

If I wasn't born, I wouldn't be aware of my existence. So If I did wish that I wasn't born, I wouldn't ever remember being alive in the first place and would have nothing to compare it to, so....

    Maybe? Lol. xD

It's like the issue with time travel. You can't go back in time to change something because then that something would've never happened which would make you not want to go back in time to change it in the first place. Therefore it will always happen and you can't change it c:

There was a comic about this, where a troll went back in time, beat himself up, and then when he got older remembered beating himself up and went back in time to punish himself for it by beating himself up.... good stuff, trying to think about these infinite loops.

    That's hilarious xD

And to keep topic relevant: Yes, you could say that being not born helps you avoid all of your problems and issues in life, but you also avoid all the good things in the process. For me, I don't think I'd want to wish myself be unborn. I feel like I have made somewhat of a difference so far and I intend to keep going to help do my part in making the world a better place. //aww so sweet

My answer is simple. My life is good and it just got even better as of lately. I had a sit down with my ex wife, her lawyer, two mediators, and my lawyers. And we finally came to an agreement for our daughter. My standard visitations/overnights start next month, and we have my daughter this Sunday, and every Saturday this month.

If life is rough for anyone, then take a step back into your life and try to find your inner-self again because if you can't love yourself, or love your life, then there are some issues that need to be addressed.

I do sometimes think of that. If I wasn't born, I'd miss out on a lot of awesome stuff and awesome people! But then again, I wouldn't have experienced pain, love, and hardships. :/

It's a great question to ponder upon to waste time. This may sound weird, but I ponder about life while in the shower.

Pain is apart of life though. Pain makes you stronger than anything. Especially struggling - IE, not being able to pay your bills and things like that. It gives you more confidence in order to succeed. I remember when I was so depressed before, I didn't want to live anymore because how depressed I was. It was so bad, I had to go check in and get some help, and get back on track. Sometimes we take life for granted, and sometimes we don't, but life is great.

I believe that we are all born for a reason, and I think sooner or later everyone will find that reason, so yes, I am glad I was born.
