I doubt CPVR would post that he was selling VPL in a separate thread if it were true. He would make a new thread. And I am sure Joy would've told CPVR that she was leaving before posting a thread about it.

Haha, I hope we do and none of this is true. I have been on sites before where the users did something like this and posted a thread as a joke about the mods abuse of power. And no one knew it was a joke and were posting how it was true and it led to most of the mods getting demoted xD.

Well this obviously didn't go as @cpvr and I had planned. But I might as well break the news to you all before this gets any worse.
This is a joke, an April Fools joke to be exact. And I wasn't going to say anything until we made a real announcement later on.
So... APRIL FOOLS...
Sorry that you guys feel it's tasteless, but it is what it is; a joke. I think we can all use some humor more often - however cruel and dark as this one was.
Hopefully you guys aren't too mad with Cpvr and I enough to stick around for the next few hours to see a sweeter announcement. (I promise you, it makes up for what happened here). <3
