22 ancient creatures have been reanimated and their DNA is found in a special potion.








The Jurassic Essence will change your active pet into one of these event species.


(You can also obtain them in the usual ways--eggs, zaps, other potions, etc.)


Findable in the Arctic at R30, you should be able to get all the essences you need!





"Being out on a dig for so long, we figured your spirits could do some refueling, so I put together some complimentary Expedition Kits for you."











This kit contains:


- 1 random T-rex bone.


- 1 random collectable.


- 1 Jurassic Essence.





You can pick this item up from the Advent Calendar tomorrow, but our friendly merchant has tossed some around the Arctic at R70 too.

I have to say I don't generally play Aywas because of the complexion of the art but this is a great update anyway.

Why so? Do you prefer more cartoonish art? Personally Aywas is pretty close to the way I'd like a pet site's art to be. Daelune had it, but it won't be developed anymore.

Yes I do like the cartoonish style, I've always appreciated art especially complexity art but for me i would hang that on my wall, not play with it, I do like the art but to me it's not the type of art I would like to play with.

I understand. Personally, I do prefer Aywas' style when it comes to shading and details, although the anatomy is cartoonish on most pets, which is an element that I do not like, but still, as I don't play any pet site it doesn't really bother me.

Exactly. I believe it came as a result of seeing many kinds of artwork over the years and the fact that cartoonish graphics dominate most of the market, so it has become rather redundant for me.
