Animation Programs - Help!

Discussion in 'Art/Writing General' started by Miss R, Jun 20, 2011.

  1. I currently use Paint Tool Sai for drawing item art, which is a great little program but it has no animation features (as far as i'm aware!) Problem is I have a few avatars to make and it's frustrating not being able to animate them.

Does anyone know of a basic animation program I could perhaps download for free? (I use Windows 7) I would only be animating text or something very simple. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Rach x

  2. For free?

    Errr...
I know you can use GIMP.

And there's an online animation program called DoInk (http://www.doink.com)

  3. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it!

  4. GIMP is probably one of the best free tools to use for what you need. :)

  5. Gimp deffinatly is what you need if you want free and basic animation
