Bad habits

Discussion in 'Health' started by cpvr, Jul 5, 2012.

  1. In this thread we'll talk about some of our bad habits, and how long we've had these habits.

I'll start it off my saying I smoke Newports, and I've been smoking for almost a year and a half now, but I do plan on quitting one day. I also have a bad habit of swearing, but its okay sometimes right?

I also have a bad habit of spending money on things I really don't need - like energy drinks, starbucks coffee, etc.

So, what are some of your bad habits?

Your banner/button can be located here for an entire month or year, please see our advertising on virtualpetlist thread for more information.

  2. I don't know if this is a bad habit or not but I crack my knuckles a lot.

  3. Everytime I make a plan to NOT spend money I don't really have spare, SOMETHING always comes up that then stops that from happening.

  4. i crack my neck and knuckles and back and wrists and wow basically everything i can
and i bite the skin off my lips and fingers like around my nails
and bite my nails down as far as i can before it starts to hurt too much
and if i have an itch ill scratch it until my skins red raw even if its my eyes or face ill just itch

im really bad for this kinda thing

  5. I too crack my knuckles, but I've read that the arthritis thing is an old wives' tale. I also bite my nails instead of using other methods which is generally looked down on, but as a result my nails are always short, clean (since I wash my hands regularly) and smooth. I don't really see anything wrong with biting nails in your own quarters.

I have a bad habit of being brutally honest with people. A rare number of people see this as a good habit, but most people expect me to sugar-coat what I say.

  6. How in the world can you crack your neck? I've never seen someone do that before. I also bite my nails to the brim. I've been doing that since I was a kid, but I do let 4 finger nails to grow - and then chew them off eventually.

  7. @cpvrcpvr turn my head to the side until i hear a crack on both sides

its probably a bad thing but it somehow makes me feel better ha ha

  8. I'm going to have to try it, thank you! Do you crack your back as well? I think my girlfriend does that from time to time.
