Facebook changes photos to make them for beautiful

Discussion in 'Off Topic' started by cpvr, Jul 30, 2012.

1. Looks like Facebook is at it again in terms of updating because a report from Cnet stated this "Facebook update aims to beautify Photos
Like all of the social network's updates, the new feature is being rolled out gradually."
Source: http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-57482319-93/facebook-update-aims-to-beautify-photos/?tag=cnetRiver

The new photos if Facebook has rolled its feature out to you:

What does everyone think about the new redesign to photos?

Your banner/button can be located here for an entire month or year, please see our advertising on virtualpetlist thread for more information.

2. Oh boy.

The redesign looks intensive. Now users get to see slutty Facebook girls in several different artistic perspectives.

Wonderful.

3. @GabbyGabby
Didn't think you needed to be as blunt as that.
Could have said maybe "Girls doing the typical bathroom shot" instead?

5. @cpvrcpvr
Those types of faces are not as popular now.

6. So tell me, what's the new "popular" faces on Facebook going around?:p

The type where people get their top lip stuck on tip of their nose.

8. I think the "tongue sticking out, hand on hip" is making a comeback -_- Not that it ever really left...

I'd like this layout if there were ACTUALLY pictures like that on Facebook. There aren't, though (at least not many), so like Gabby said, we just get to see stupid pictures ~from an artistic standpoint~

9. o_O; If you don't like my bluntness, ignore me.

I dislike Facebook more than teenagers shamelessly trying to portray their bodies in bathrooms.

Is that better? Lol.

I realize I have a horrible flaw of coming off too strong, so I apologize if I offended you

Thank you, and I do agree that the duck face has always been popular. It all really depends on who you have added on facebook.

For amusement, let's refer to this video

Edit: We also get to look at girls and boys heavily partying, smoking, etc. in artistic perspective which is just as grotesque

10. @GabbyGabby
It was just the use of the S word that offended me.

11. @Martyn *shrugs* I understand. Sorry.

12. @GabbyGabby
Forgive & forget, that's all I can say.

13. Ya, I see those type of pictures a lot. And girls "having their booty out" so to say. I see some girls that I've seen in person use photoshop to change their photos though, such as, making them look smaller than what they are? Have you noticed that as well?

Do you have any examples of any chance mate?

It's quite hard to do, but that's my attempt at it.
It may look like the duck face, but it ain't. Because the lip is being held up by you breathing in through your nose.

15. Well on my friends list, any Photoshop edits are usually really bad hair color changes (because pink hair is so ~edgy~) or eye color changes

16. Kinda like this?

@Panda!Panda! Gotcha, I haven't seen any my friends do that though. Some really do dye their hair.

17. I've got idiots who I'm friends with on FB who ruin good pictures by adding quotes and doing horrible photoshop edits. I've personally gone up to them and yelled at them for it.

This is why I remain a Gastrodon on FB :|.

18. You too? I made a thread about that ago, but not sure where it went but. There's an app out there called Caption this[I believe], and its a top app - its probably how your friends are editing photos with. It's very annoying. =X

19. Clearly, I need to get rid of my duckface. D;

Though, I do like the change to the photo interface, but I'ma guess if it's being rolled out, it's only for those with timeline.

20. I actually kinda like it. Will have to wait until it's available for me though and decide on it. :p
